Library Board of Trustees

The Library Board of Trustees is a volunteer advisory board appointed by the City of Manitou Springs. The Board of Trustees meets at the library at 7:00 p.m on the second Thursday of the month. All meetings are open to the public, so please feel free to join us. The Library Board is currently looking for two interested individuals who are looking to serve their community. A letter of interest can be sent to City Clerk Carol Lawson at Manitou Springs City Hall. City Council has final approval and appointment to the board.

Roger Armstrong

Roger Armstrong

Roger was reared in El Paso County, and came to Manitou Springs in 1971.  He has lived here continuously since 1981.  Roger is a house painter, and states he can't find any other place to live where the climate and cultural zeitgeist allow him his own special niche.   The Library is, in his opinion, the center of social and intellectual  gravity in Manitou Springs.
