Transitions Manitou Movie ~ "Convenient Truth - Brazil"

The tagline reads thus: "Cities should be a solution, not a problem for human beings." "Convenient Truth - Brazil" shows innovations in recycling, housing, transportation and more that transformed urban Curitiba, Brazil, into a green city. Transition Manitou is a local effort to create a better, healthier local culture, one that fosters a deep and increased sense of community and connection. The main objective is to drastically cut the carbon footprint of Manitou and build ‘resilience’ into the Manitou community through “relocalizing” its resource base. Relocalization affects all aspects of a community: food, transportation, energy access, local economy, and job base.
