The Friends of Manitou Springs Public Library host several enjoyable events throughout the year.

Library Lawn Sale

LLS 2007Friends Library Lawn Sale is held on the second Saturday of June. Donations come from community members willing to help the Friends in their efforts to preserve and restore the library's original Carnegie building. Donations can be taken to Treasure Chest storage any time during the year up until sale time. Please mark your sale items!

Bratz 'n Fine Arts

Bratz 'n Fine Arts

This annual fundraiser is held at the Garden of the Gods Trading Post following the Labor Day Weekend. Proceeds benefit the library building restoration fund. Live music, artists, and food make for a most enjoyable and festive evening to kick off the fall social season. This year: Sept. 10, 2008

Author Fest of the Rockies

Author Fest of the Rockies is held in October. This event provides the community and the surrounding areas with the best possible weekend of workshop sessions dealing with writing, publishing, and networking. Authors or presenters who would like to be part of this exciting event should check the website throughout the year at www.authorfestoftherockies.org for updated information.
